YWCA RETIREMENT FUND
The YWCA Retirement Fund (YWCARF) provides retirement benefits for employees of YWCA associations across the nation, supporting their mission to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.
Predating Social Security, YWCARF is one of the oldest retirement funds in the country, as well as the first pension plan available for women. When they came to Raygun in 2020 for a rebrand, our design team understood the importance of honoring the Fund’s legacy in their new identity. We created an elegant brand with a modern, professional look-and-feel, drawing on inspiration from midcentury design.
The logo marks and color palette reflect the Fund’s connection to the YWCA while establishing their own unique identity.

We collaborated with the Raygun development team to build a custom website that provides access to resources and information for YWCARF participants and administrators.
Additional brand development work includes infographics, environmental graphics, and illustrations for blog and social media.
